Service Description
Scope of Work This service provides comprehensive soil conditioning and surface preparation using a Harley Rake attachment, designed for acreage development, pasture renewal, seedbed preparation, or general land restoration. Service Overview Using a skid steer-mounted Harley Rake, we perform mechanical de-thatching, soil loosening, and grading to produce a smooth, level, and well-aerated surface ready for seeding, turf installation, or regrading. The Harley Rake pulverizes compacted soil, removes surface debris, and creates a uniform top layer ideal for agricultural or landscaping use. Applications Acreage landscaping and new build lot preparation Field and pasture restoration Seedbed and sod preparation Fireguard and fenceline clearing Leveling and decompaction of high-traffic or degraded zones Standard Inclusions Conditioning of top 2–3 inches of soil (depth may vary by terrain) Removal of light vegetation, rocks, and debris from the treated surface Grading and leveling of the prepared area for drainage and contouring Pulverization of clumps and re-integration of organic surface matter
Cancellation Policy
Booking Policy 1. Scheduling & Availability All service bookings are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. Booking dates are subject to equipment availability, weather conditions, and regional accessibility. We recommend booking at least 7 days in advance during peak seasons (May–October). 2. Confirmation & Deposits To secure a booking, a non-refundable deposit of $100 is required upon confirmation. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing. Deposit can be sent direct to operations@westernfrontdevelopment.ca 3. Site Access Requirements Customers must ensure the worksite is accessible by equipment (including skid steer and trailer) at the scheduled time. This includes: An accessible driveway or approach No low-hanging wires or obstructions Clearly marked property lines or work areas If access is not possible at time of arrival, a $150 call-out fee may be charged and the service rescheduled. 4. Cancellations & Rescheduling Clients may reschedule their booking with at least 48 hours' notice at no charge. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled service may forfeit the deposit. Weather-related delays will be rescheduled at no penalty. 6. Additional Charges Additional services such as gravel hauling, grading beyond the scoped area, or excessive debris removal may incur additional charges. Any such charges will be discussed and approved prior to work.
